brazilianprotests:
*sent by readers*
Hello,
Here are some photos of the Berlin march.
It was all very peaceful and organized. When we arrived to the meeting place at 1pm (local time) there were some police cars waiting, since the authorithies were warned about our protest. They were extremely helpful, always guiding us on how we should proceed with the march.
One of the most heartfelt moments was when a group of turkish protesters joined us, with speeches on the importance of international solidarity. When the brazilian march was over, many of the people decided to join the turkish march to support them the same way they have supported us.
(Both marches were scheduled for this sunday but in different streets and hours. The turkish one also began at Kottibusser Tor station but they were heading towards Potsdamer Platz and it began later.)
